The Model 300 Copper Wire Granulator is a compact, high-efficiency recycling solution engineered for the dry separation of copper and plastic insulation from scrap cables. Working Principle
The Model 300 employs a dry-type physical separation process to maximize recovery rates without the use of water or chemicals.
Size Reduction: Scrap cables are fed into the granulation chamber where they are crushed by a rotor equipped with 6 durable SKD-11 blades. This high-strength tool steel ensures long blade life and consistent cutting performance, even with tough cable materials.
Airflow & Gravity Separation: The crushed mixture (copper granules and plastic fragments) is conveyed into the gravity separator. A precisely calibrated airflow system separates the heavier copper particles from the lighter plastic insulation based on specific weight differences.
Vibrating Screen Refinement: The separated materials pass through a vibrating screen for secondary refinement. This step ensures a higher purity level of the final copper product by filtering out any remaining impurities or mixed particles.
