Product Overview
The Jiacui Dry-Type Copper Wire Granulator (also known as a copper cable granulator or "copper rice machine") is a fully integrated, dry-process recycling system engineered to convert scrap insulated wires and cables into high-purity copper granules and reusable plastic particles. Instead of burning, chemical stripping, or water washing, the machine relies on mechanical shredding, air gravity separation, and vibrating-screen classification to achieve clean metal–plastic liberation with no wastewater discharge and minimal dust emission.
It is designed for scrap yards, WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) processors, cable manufacturers, automotive-dismantling shops, and construction-demolition sorting centers that need to upgrade from manual wire stripping to continuous, PLC-controlled production.
Working Principle
Feeding – Mixed waste cables (household wire, communication cable, car harness, industrial power cable) are fed by belt or hopper.
Coarse Shredding – A low-speed, high-torque twin-shaft shredder pre-cuts long cables into manageable lengths.
Fine Granulation – A high-speed rotor crusher fitted with SKD-11 / D2 alloy blades shears the material into 2–5 mm copper–plastic mixture particles.
Air Separation – A cyclone air classifier exploits the density gap between copper (≈8.9 g/cm³) and PVC/XLPE/PE insulation to blow light plastic upward.
Vibrating Screen & Gravity Table – Residual mix is polished on a vibrating deck; optional electrostatic separator pushes copper purity to 99.8%+ on fine hair-wire.
Dust Collection – A pulse-jet baghouse or HEPA-grade filter captures fines at source, keeping the cabin below 80 dB(A) and compliant with workshop dust limits.
Discharge – Two outlets: copper granules ("copper rice") and plastic regrind, both conveyable to storage or baling.
